The Oppie
The Oppie is a great small single handed boat for younger beginners to try their hand at sailing. Students as young as seven can be introduced to sailing in the safety of the model yacht pond. The Trust currently operates twelve Oppies.

The Topper
One of the most versatile and rugged dinghies ever designed, over 50,000 of these boats have been produced worldwide. Usually sailed single handed by intermediate and experienced sailors, the Topper is a whole load of fun. It is very quick in a breeze and a great boat to race.

Sport 14
Designed to be sailed by two or more sailors this boat has all the knobs and whistles. If you have never tried going out on a trapeze or sailing a spinnaker then you have got to have a go at the Sport14. We have eight Sport 14's.

The Taz
The Taz is the ideal starter boat with beach cred and is suitable as a transitional boat between the Oppie and Topper. The trust operates three of these boats.

J24
A twenty four foot keel boat which we use to introduce youngsters from 14 upwards to keel boat sailing and racing. The J24 is an easy and forgiving boat to sail giving an exciting introduction to bigger boat sailing.

Hawk 20
These 20 foot open day boats have really proved a hit with everyone. We have been able to to introduce people with a wide range of disabilities to sailing using these boats. |
