| Gem slips back in the water |

| After nearly 8 months out of the water Gem is now safely back in her natural element. During the autumn and winter she has undergone a major refit ,the decks have been repaired and re-laid , the engine and generator have been removed overhauled and re-installed , The interior has been refurbished, and the mast has been unstepped and is in the process of being repainted and re- rigged. Much of the work has been done by local marine traders at either cost or no charge and we are very grateful for this valuable donation. The re-commissioning is scheduled for the 21st of April after which Gem will be starting what we hope will be a busy summer offering voyages to local young sailors.
