Bookings and payment
In order to secure a place on the course of your choice we will need to have a completed booking form and full payment, either by PayPal, bank transfer or cheque made payable to The Guernsey Sailing Trust LBG.
Should you cancel up to 8 weeks prior to the first day of the course you will lose 10% of the course fee, after this there will be no refund. Under certain circumstances the Guernsey Sailing Trust may refund part or whole of the fee should representations be made. Any cancellations must be made in writing or by email to the Trust .

Every effort will be made to see that the course you have booked will run, but the Trust reserves the right to cancel a course should they consider the conditions unsuitable. The Guernsey Sailing Trust reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule a course if numbers fail to reach the minimum required. Where a course has been cancelled we will offer clients a full refund or an alternative course when- ever applicable.
Facilities at the Guernsey Sailing Trust
RYA trained Instructors and Safety Boats.
Buoyancy aids and waterproof clothing.
Use of Guernsey Yacht Club changing and shower rooms (which must be kept clean and tidy).
We cannot be held liable for any valuables left at the Trust. We do have a valuables box which is kept securely in the office if you should wish us to keep your valuables safe.
Sailing Kit List
Shorts and T Shirt / Wetsuit depending on weather and temperature (jeans and tight trousers are not suitable).
Bathers and towel.
Change of clothes including a warm jumper.
Wetsuit boots/shoes, old trainers, crocs or other suitable footwear are essential. Bare foot or wearing flip flops is not permitted whilst sailing.
Suntan cream and sun hat.
Long hair must be tied up and it is advisable not to wear jewellery or watches.
If you suffer from sea-sickness please take or bring with you some medication. Its no fun feeling sea-sick.
Packed lunch and drink or money if you are booked on a full day course.
