Oppie Courses
These ever popular courses are sailed in the Oppie dinghy. We have been using Oppies dinghys to teach youngsters from the age of 7, for the past 19 years and many of those who started in these boats have gone on to sail in various UK National Squads.
The courses follow the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme and students should be able to gain the various certificates appropriate to the courses.
Beginners 0900 – 1200

After School Oppie Courses
These are short intrductory courses that will take place after school on Wednesday evenings from 16.00 – 17.00. The courses run over four weeks and they are designed to introduce younger children from the age of 6 to sailing in the safe confines of the Model Yacht pond.
