The Guernsey Sailing Trust has two full-time members of staff and many more instructors and assistant instructors during the busy summer months.

Sarah Creasey
Principal and Welfare Officer
Sarah is the Principal at the Guernsey Sailing Trust and the Sports Development Officer. Sarah is also an RYA Senior Instructor and has over 20 years experience as an instructor and many more as a sailor. While predominantly running the office, she will also be found wading through the pond and teaching school groups!

Krzystow Damsell
Chief Instructor
Krzystow serves as the Chief Instructor at the Guernsey Sailing Trust, bringing a over 15 years of experience and passion for watersports. A qualified RYA Senior Instructor in Dinghy, Keelboat, Powerboat, and Windsurf disciplines, he has been immersed in sailing since the age of 7 and began instructing at just 14. With international experience, Krzystow has honed his skills in Sydney while working as a Watersports & Powerboat Instructor.

Jacob Arnold
Senior Instructor
Having sailed since he was 11 Jacob’s love of the sport has seen him sail across the channel multiple times, delivered boats to Portugal and competed in several yacht races in France and the UK. All this is in addition to his RYA instructor qualfiications where he can teach in dinghies, keelboats and powerboats.

Nathan Ward
Management Committee Chair
An euthausiast memeber of the Guernsey Sailing Trust’s managment committee, Nathan’s carer in the maritime industry has left him well prepared to steer the Guernsey Sailing Trust through rain or shine.

Chris Taylor
Welfare Officer
Chris is a PBI and although not seen so much at the GST, he is very happy to talk about any concerns you may have. Chris is also a teacher at Les Varandes and has many years experience in pastoral care.
