Oppies On The Pond: Age 5-10

We have been using Oppie dinghies to teach youngsters from the age of 5 for the past 20 years.

It is a fantastic way for young people to learn to dinghy sail and work their way through the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1 and 2.  These courses will take place on the Model Yacht Pond.

The courses are three hours and run either from 9am til 12pm (am) or 1pm til 4pm (pm).

Unless otherwise stated, the course are suitable for beginners and improvers.  When there is a mixed ability in the group, it will be split into smaller groups to allow each sailor to progress at the right level for their sailing and age.
