The Oppies on the Pond courses are suitable for beginners and improvers. Taught on the Model Yacht Pond by instructors in waders, these courses are fun and allow progression for sailors of all abilities. When there is a mixed ability in the group, it will be split into smaller groups to allow each sailor to progress at the right level for their sailing and age. Improver Sailing Courses are for those already with experience sailing and a chance to hone their skills. These full day courses will take place in a range of sailing dinghies on the sea. The Improver Dinghy Sailing courses are designed for sailors with minimum experience of RYA Stage 2 or equivalent. The Oppies on the Pond courses are suitable for beginners and improvers. The Beginner Dinghy Sailing courses designed for older children to learn to sail. Sailors will be taken, at their own pace, through the RYA Youth Scheme Stages 1 and 2. For a taste of everything and a whole lot of fun too! These days are fun filled with your chance to try activities and practice skills such as dinghy sailing, keelboat sailing, raft building, and powerboating (all weather dependent).
